Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted engaged in what seemed like a serious conversation while driving around Los Angeles last Friday.
Captured in pictures by Page Six, Affleck appeared quite expressive, making animated gestures from the driver’s seat, as Lopez, maintaining a composed demeanor, listened.
At a moment, the “Jenny From the Block” singer was observed looking ahead intensely while the “Justice League” actor addressed her.
A subsequent photo captured Lopez, 54, directing a stern look at Affleck as he continued to converse.
Regardless of the appearance in the photos, a source close to the couple exclusively informed Page Six on Saturday that the conversation was “not at all heated.”
Representatives for Lopez and Affleck haven't returned comments requested by Page Six.
The actual content of their conversation remains unknown, but Affleck had recently drawn attention for a close moment with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and one of their daughters, inside his car.
As mentioned by Page Six, earlier this month Garner, 51, was seen embracing the “Good Will Hunting” actor, also 51, from the back seat of his vehicle, while their daughter Seraphina sat beside him in the front. The former spouses, who split in 2015, also co-parent daughter Violet and son Samuel, maintaining a cordial relationship.
Affleck married Lopez in July 2022, while Garner is in a relationship with entrepreneur John Miller.
Regarding the harmonious co-parenting and friendly relations among them, a source revealed to the Daily Mail that Affleck is considerably more “healthy” currently, being with Lopez.
“The previous drama and the emotional turmoil of the divorce have subsided, and they all are managing well,” commented the source.
The source also noted that Garner and Lopez—who has twins Max and Emme with ex Marc Anthony—are on amicable terms, and their respective children get along well.
“It's genuinely a harmonious co-parenting scenario,” added the source.
“Currently, everything is going exceptionally well and is expected to remain so in the foreseeable future.”
