Recently, Archana and her father visited the Congress office to convey their congratulations to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on the successful adoption of the women’s reservation bill in Parliament. Sadly, they were denied entry and were allegedly attacked by a group of agitators outside the office.
In addition to this, videos of Archana Gautam and her father experiencing mistreatment have rapidly circulated on social media, sparking outrage among online communities. Following this disturbing event, the former Bigg Boss participant decided to share her side of the story.
While speaking to News 18 Showsha, Archana stated that her father and driver sustained serious injuries from the incident that occurred on September 29. “They refused to let us inside the office, keeping the gates shut. We were informed, ‘upar se aadesh hai aaki entry bandh hai (There are orders from above denying your entry)’. The motive behind this remains unknown to me. I narrowly escaped, managing to save my life. I merely intended to extend my congratulations. I assumed I would receive a warm welcome as I hadn’t visited the party office since the conclusion of Bigg Boss. Even women were among those who treated me improperly. It's puzzling how they lacked compassion.”
Archana has since travelled back to Mumbai, while her father has gone to their native place in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. “My father has suffered injuries. My driver received a blow to his head. This is unjust. I am relatively unscathed. I intend to organize a press conference shortly to disclose the truth,” she remarked.
An emotional Archana recounted the ordeal and conveyed, “I was hitting cars parked on the street, seeking refuge in one of them. They yanked my hair. It was akin to an on-road violation. I pleaded with them with my hands joined. My father was petrified.”
Archana anticipates a response from Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi. “I am confident that Rahul (Gandhi) and Priyanka (Gandhi) are unaware of this. I await a call from them. If didi (Priyanka Gandhi) doesn’t support me now, I will be shattered. I have been a consistent supporter of them. If she remains silent, it will crush me,” she expressed.
