Sophie Drops Shocking Letter! Joe & Her Planned England Home!

Sophie Turner has unveiled startling legal documents this week, revealed by Page Six, that disclose her soon-to-be ex-husband Joe Jonas once dreamed of a life with their daughters in England, as mentioned in a recent letter he wrote.

Joe Jonas, a member of The Jonas Brothers, wrote a poignant letter on June 16, a mere three months before initiating divorce proceedings, aiming to convince a property owner to sell them a residence in Wallingford, Oxford.

“In our pursuit of a home in the UK, our daughter had three specific wishes: a chicken coop, a pony, and a Wendy house,” Joe, 34, penned to the property owner. He wrote about the unique charm they felt the moment they saw the beautiful blue shutters of the undisclosed residence.

The “Lovebug” singer spoke with excitement about the £7.5 million property and described watching the owner’s children have a picnic in the “beautiful walled garden” as “divine!” He conveyed his vision of residing in England, even discussing the beautiful property with Turner’s father.

The letter was impactful, and the sellers accepted their offer, with the former couple paying a 10 percent deposit, £750,000 ($914,130), on July 7, two months before parting ways.

However, despite the initial proceedings, a source informed Page Six that the property is in escrow and the sale “never finalized.”

Turner, 27, asserts in her legal submission that acquiring the UK property had been a prolonged process, with the family even relocating their personal belongings to the UK. Turner is contesting Miami’s jurisdiction over their upcoming divorce due to their relocation, seeking a dismissal of the case.

The “Game of Thrones” star discloses in legal documents that she currently resides in temporary housing in New York with their daughters, Willa and Delphine. Jonas has reportedly declined Turner’s request to return their daughters to England.

Earlier this month, Turner legally challenged Jonas, accusing him of unlawfully withholding their children, although Jonas denies the accusations of “abduction.”

A representative for Jonas stated that they had an understanding to bring up their daughters in both the US and the UK. However, an insider clarifies that having intentions stated in a letter, like the one Jonas wrote, doesn’t establish legal residency.

Page Six attempted to contact Turner’s legal team for remarks but received no immediate response.

Despite their contentious divorce, the couple had earlier presented a united stance, expressing their mutual decision to end their marriage amicably in a joint Instagram post on September 6 after four years together. They appealed for respect for their privacy.
