According to a review by The New York Times, the couple has named their new son Techno Mechanicus, who also goes by the nickname "Tau."

The biography does not provide further details about Techno Mechanicus, such as the date or location of his birth. Representatives for both Elon Musk and Grimes have yet to respond to media inquiries for comment.

The couple first welcomed a son named X Æ A-12 in May 2020, who later had his name changed to X Æ A-Xii and is affectionately called "X." In December 2021, they had a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, nicknamed "Y," through surrogacy.
