Anupama 3rd September 2023 Written Update
In today's episode, Leela questions Vanraj about his views on societal norms. Unfazed, Vanraj states that he's not concerned about what society thinks. Leela warns him that he could face humiliation, but Vanraj retorts that he faced no scrutiny when he betrayed his family, so he's not worried about it now. When Leela asks if he will accept Kavya's baby, Vanraj asserts that just as Anu is the child of Anuj and Anupama, Anirudh's baby is also his responsibility. Leela is visibly upset and disagrees with Vanraj's stance.
Anupama then questions Vanraj's certainty about accepting Kavya and her child. Vanraj assures her of his decision, but Anupama warns him that he can't be fickle about such a serious matter. Kavya also urges Vanraj to think carefully, causing him to hesitate, leaving Kavya distraught.
Meanwhile, Dimple revels in the family drama. Samar confronts her, asking if she would find it amusing if a similar situation unfolded in her own family. He advises Dimple to focus on finding a job instead of taking pleasure in others' misfortunes. Samar shares that he has found a job teaching dance to a wealthy child, and encourages Dimple to seek employment as well.
Anupama informs Anuj that the family has learned the truth about Kavya. Anuj is relieved and urges Anupama to focus on completing their project. Anupama apologizes for her inability to join the office at the moment, citing multiple concerns including Vanraj, Kavya, Pakhi, and Adhik.
Adhik and Romil eagerly await further drama. Anuj discovers that Ankush has not deposited some money, leading to tension. Romil and Adhik get into an argument, during which an expensive watch falls out of Romil's bag. He claims it belongs to a friend.
Kavya confronts Vanraj about his decision regarding her and the baby. Vanraj admits that he's still undecided, acknowledging that Anupama's question has made him reconsider. Kavya is left stunned by his indecision.
In a subplot, Anupama questions Romil about a missing money bag. Romil retorts, asking why she isn't questioning Adhik or Pakhi. Anuj insists that Romil answer Anupama's query. Romil decides to leave but not before clarifying that the expensive watch that fell from his bag belongs to a friend.
In the episode's precap, Anupama scolds Adhik, while Pakhi warns her to stay out of her married life, hinting at dire consequences if she interferes.
