Johnny Depp's Epic Comeback to Cooper's Bold Amber Heard Idea

Alice Cooper, an iconic figure in the rock music industry, known for his theatrical and dark stage performances, recently shared an amusing anecdote.

He mentioned that he once humorously proposed to his close friend, Johnny Depp, that Depp and his former spouse, Amber Heard, should consider remaking the iconic movie, “The War of the Roses.” This suggestion was made in light of their well-publicized divorce.

Both Cooper and Depp share a deep bond of friendship and are part of the music group, Hollywood Vampires, which also includes Joe Perry from Aerosmith.

This revelation came to light during Cooper's interview with a UK-based newspaper, The Times. Recounting the conversation, Cooper said, “I have a great idea. You and Amber do a remake of The War of the Roses. Who wouldn’t go and see that?”

To this, Depp, always quick with his wit, retorted, “What songs are we doing?” This jestful exchange underscores Depp's ability to keep his spirits high and humor intact, even amidst the intense media attention that surrounded his divorce and subsequent legal proceedings with Heard.

Depp's Passion for Music and Acting

Alice Cooper further highlighted Johnny Depp's inclination to stay away from the limelight associated with his personal life. He mentioned that Depp would have been happier playing the guitar off-stage, rather than being at the forefront, given the immense attention he garners as a GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED ACTOR.

Despite the tumultuous phase during his divorce with Heard, which was extensively covered by the media, Depp hasn't allowed his past to overshadow his fervor for music and acting. Cooper humorously remarked that even though they might be the “world’s most expensive bar band,” Depp's zeal for both his music and cinematic pursuits remains undiminished.
